2017 IPNI Scholar Award is open for application

February 15, 2017. Penang, Malaysia – The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) invites eligible graduate students to apply for the 2017 IPNI Scholar Award. Individual prizes of USD 2,000 will be awarded directly to winners with no specific duties required of them. Deadline has been set for 27 April 2017.

“We are very pleased with the increasing interest for the IPNI Scholar Award program over the years, which attracted many high quality applicants. The 2017 competition is now open and we cordially invite graduate students in sciences relevant to plant nutrition and management of crop nutrients from universities and agricultural research centers to send in their applications,” said Dr. Thomas Oberthür, IPNI Director of Southeast Asia Program.

The global representation of universities and the wide array of fields of study submitted have been impressive. The IPNI selection committee, which consists of IPNI scientific staff from all regions, goes through a rigorous selection process every year with strict guidelines to select the winners.
