WEBINAR Recording : Homologous Events

The IPNI Plantation Intelligence® group has developed the system of Homologous Events (HE) for Oil Palm. The HE system provides managers with a tool to characterize the growing conditions of individual fields over time. Similar conditions are defined as HEs. Yield variation within and across homologous events is analyzed with a view to providing managers with information on how distinct management practices affect yield. Examples were presented for fertilizer response. The same approach can readily be applied to other crops.
