SCIENCE RESEARCH SPECIALIST II

Employer: International Plant Nutrition Institute, Southeast Asia program

Location: Los Baños, Philippines

Salary Grade: SG-16

Project duration: 3 years (DA-BAR Funded Project)


QUALIFICATION:
    • MS Soil Science, Agronomy or related field with at least two years of research experience. (Individuals with MS units and at least four years of relevant research experience may also apply)
    • Experience in working with government agencies and private sector is an advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Assist project leader in the development of project protocol
    • Liaise with DA regional project partners in the proper implementation of the project protocol
    • Monitor cassava field trials and collect/process data
    • Assist in preparing project reports
    • Assist in preparing and conducting trainings on Nutrient Expert Cassava and related topics
