Season’s Greetings to Friends, Partners & Supporters of IPNI Southeast Asia

A few days ago, I watched yet another time the Return of the Jedi. As before, one wise reminder by Master Yoda never fails to have its impact on me “When nine hundred years old you reach, look as good you will not.”

December is the time to reflect on the months gone by. Considering the year 2016 of IPNI in Southeast Asia, I find myself gladly disagreeing with Master Yoda: “When another twelve months older we reach, look as good we will.” And this is very much so because of you: friends, partner institutions, member companies and supporters of IPNI in Southeast Asia.

Sustainable agriculture that produces food, fiber, a healthy environment, and fair incomes for all in the supply chain cannot be achieved by an individual organization. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your ongoing support, for your interest in the work IPNI does in Southeast Asia. It is a privilege for us that we value highly.

We look forward to another year of collaboration that will further help to improve the agricultural production systems we work in, through better management and crop nutrition.

For you personally and professionally: all the best for the next twelve months to come.

Thomas Oberthür
